SocraMetrics GmbH was founded in spring 2007 by the partners Dr. Barbara Schug, Prof. Dr. Henning Blume, and Dr. Frank Donath so that the well established department “Clinical Data Management, Biometrics and Statistics” of SocraTec R&D GmbH was given a new look and an own economical foothold.
 With their depth of experience, the partners of SocraMetrics have comprehensive knowledge from long term successful work in the service sector of clinical trials for the pharmaceutical industry as well as expertise in biometrical requests and problem solving outlines of data management procedures.

In combination with a young, committed team filled with enthusiasm this experience will now be used to realise the company’s philosophy to build an innovative, professional, and customer-orientated system for data management and evaluation. The decision for the location Erfurt was taken for a good reason since the clinical pharmacological unit of SocraTec R&D GmbH is already located there. Therefore, data generated there can be processed on the spot.
 SocraMetrics is now able to expand the previous business activities of data management and biometrics. The team is particularly specialised in clinical studies phase I. However, projects of higher study phases of the pharmaceutical development (phase II-IV) and aspects of epidemiological projects can now also be confidentially carried out.
